2. Product Descriptions
The JBL Enhanced Coverage Series Ceiling Loudspeakers utilize innovative design and materials to provide premium level
performance from compact in-ceiling speakers.
Control 424C/T – The Control 424C/T contains a coaxially mounted 4" woofer and ¾" tweeter. The speaker can be set for low-
impedance (16Ω) operation or can be driven by either a 70V or 100V distributed speaker line. (SKU# is JBL-C424C/T)
Control 424LP – A shallower, lower-prole version of Control 424C/T, for locations with limited space above the ceiling. The wider
footprint (same diameter as Control 426C/T and 426LP) results in maintenance of bass. This shallow LP models can be mixed in
with full-depth Control 424C/T models for a commonality of sound character despite limited ceiling depth in some locations. (SKU#
is JBL-C424LP)
Control 426C/T – The Control 426C/T contains a coaxially mounted 6.5" woofer and ¾" tweeter. The speaker can be set for low-
impedance (12Ω) operation or can be driven by either a 70V or 100V distributed speaker line. (SKU# is JBL-C426C/T)
Control 426LP – A shallower, lower-prole version of Control 426C/T for locations with limited space above the ceiling. This
model has the same footprint as Control 426C/T for a uniformity of appearance in the ceiling. The shallow LP models can be inter-
mixed in with full-depth Control 426C/T models for a commonality of sound character. (SKU# is JBL-C426LP)
Control 426C/T-LS – Life safety version of Control 426C/T which in addition to being compliant with UL1480A Speakers for
Commercial and Professional Use (which all the speakers in this lineup have), is also compliant with UL1480 Speakers for Fire
Alarm and Signaling Systems. (SKU# is JBL-C426C/T-LS)
Control 419CS/T Subwoofer – The Control 419CS/T is a subwoofer to add bass to any system, resulting in fuller-delity sound.
This subwoofer can be set for low-impedance (8Ω) operation or can be driven by either a 70V or 100V distributed speaker line. A
built-in low-pass lter allows the Control 419C/T to be driven by a full-range signal (it reproduces only the subwoofer frequencies),
or it can be driven by a dedicated low-passed amplier channel. (SKU# is JBL-C419CS/T)
