Tricot Stitch
Stitch selector: J
Needle thread tension: 1 to 4
This stitch is used to finish the seam
allowance on synthetics and other fabrics that
tend to pucker. The stitch is also excellent for
darning and mending tears.
Place your fabric to allow a 5/8˝ (1.5 cm)
seam.
Trim excess close to stitching. Be careful not
to cut the stitches.
Scallop Stitch
Stitch selector: I
Needle thread tension: 1 to 4
Sew the stitches approximately 3/8˝ (1 cm)
inside of the edge of fabric.
Trim the outside of the stitches as shown.
Make sure you don’t cut the thread.
