The user must be aware of the common risks involved in using the device.
Use of the device in environments with explosive atmospheres or high levels
of gas and fumes could pose a serious risk to the user.
• The device must be switched o when in the vicinity of ammable,
combustible or explosive substances.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• Do not use the device in excessively dusty or humid environments.
• Do not place the device on unstable or shaky surfaces.
• The device must not be used by children under 8 years of age.
• Adequate supervision must be ensured in the case of use by children,
even if over 8 years of age, or persons with reduced cognitive and/or
motor skills.
• Immediately switch o the device, remove the battery and contact
qualied technical personnel in the event it emits excessive heat,
smoke, a bad smell or if it presents swelling, openings or deformation.
• In order to protect hearing, limit the audio volume to the minimum
necessary for proper hearing, in accordance with the noise level of the
surrounding environment.
• Do not immerse the device in any type of liquid.
• When cleaning the device, disconnect the battery and use a damp
cloth. Avoid all types of cleaning agents, especially if aggressive or
corrosive. Wait for the device to fully dry before reconnecting the
battery. Refer to the following chapter for additional guidance.
Battery
The battery will not reach its optimal performance in terms of duration after
the rst charge. The longest battery life is achieved after two or three
complete discharge and recharge cycles.
While it is possible to charge the battery before it is completely at,
recharging the battery only when it is almost at will help to maximise its
lifespan. The recharge cycle is considered complete when the indicator light
on the battery charger turns green. The device shows a message on the
display and emits an audible warning when the battery needs to be charged.
