Failure Cause Solution
The appliance no
longerworks
Plug not in socket. Insert the plug into the socket.
Temperature in the
freezer is too high or
too low
Incorrect thermostat setting. Set the thermostat to the correct position.
Ventilation openings are blocked Clean the ventilation holes.
Appliance makes noise Is the appliance properly
installed?
Check the installation.
Does the rear of the freezer make
contact with something?
Check this and move the freezer forward.
The cover does not close
properly
Is the freezer too full? Check the contents of the freezer and place it differently,
if necessary.
The compressor
continuous to run
foralong time.
In the summer, during hot periods,

run for a longer time.
Do not place too much food in the freezer at once;
Donotplace warm food in the freezer, wait until it has
cooled down sufficiently;
Open the cover less often.
