The control unit of the appliance is located on the inside. Check that the voltage corresponds with the voltage stated on the
information plate and insert the plug in the socket.
Control panel
The control panel allows you to change the temperature in the refrigerator and activate the super freeze mode.
Setting the temperature of the cooler section
Repeatedly press the SET key to set the required temperature. There are five temperature positions, 2°C is the coldest
position. The indicator for the set temperature lights up. The appliance will cool continuously until the set temperature has
been reached. Allow the appliance to reach the set temperature, before filling it with food. Usually this will take 2 to 3 hours.
After that, you can set the thermostat to the required position and fill the appliance with food.
We recommend setting the appliance to the temperature position of 4°C when using the appliance in an area with
room temperature.
Remove the plug from the socket to turn off the appliance.
Setting the temperature of the freezer section
On the back wall of the cooler section you will find a slider that can be used to set the
temperature of the freezer section.
Slide the knob to the right to increase the temperature in the freezer section. Slide the knob
to the left to decrease the temperature in the freezer section.
Under normal conditions, it is recommended to set the knob in the middle.
Warning: never slide the knob fully to the right. The temperature in the freezer section can drop
to a level so low that the No Frost function no longer works properly, causing ice to form.
Attention:
The ambient temperature, the frequency of opening the doors and the position of the appliance have an effect on the
temperature in the appliance. Take this into account when setting the thermostat.
Supercool and superfreeze
Use this mode when the appliance is getting warmer and no longer cools properly due to extremely hot weather, frequently
opening the door or placing a large quantity of food in the appliance at once.
In order to restore the cold temperature, set the thermostat to the super mode.
When this mode is selected, both the refrigerator and freezer sections are maximally cooled for a maximum of 50 hours.
After this, the temperature returns to the preset temperature.
In order to set the super mode, press the SET key for 3 seconds. The Super indicator lights up.
Caution: when the super mode is active, the temperature in the cooler section cannot be changed.
In order to switch off the super mode, press the SET key for 8 seconds. The Super indicator switches off. After 50 hours, the
super mode stops automatically.
Note: use the super mode if you want to freeze a large amount of food at the same time. Freezing will go faster, the nutrients
will be preserved and you are able to store the food for a long time.
Open door alarm
The interior lighting starts to flash when the door of the cooler section remains open for more than 90 seconds.
