USING THE COOKING TIMER
• You can set the timer for one or more cooking zones, so that it switches off automatically when the time has passed.
The timer of each cooking zone can be set and displayed independently.
• The cooking zone switches off automatically when the timer has finished.
• While the cooking timer is switched on, press the slider control once to see the current power level. While the power level
is being displayed, you can change this with the slider control if necessary.
• The maximum setting is 8:00 hours.
Setting the cooking timer for switching off one or more cooking zones.
1. Set the time with the timer's controller.
• By pressing the + or - key of the timer controller once, the time is
shortened or increased by 1 minute.
• By holding the + or - key of the timer controller down, the time is
shortened or increased by 10 minutes.
3. When the cooking timer has been set, it starts to count down
immediately. The timer display shows the remaining time.
4. When the cooking timer finishes, a sound signal can be heard and
the cooking zone is switched off automatically.
Caution: other cooking zones remain active when they have been switched on earlier.
Setting the cooking timer for several cooking zones
• The steps for setting several cooking zones are identical to the steps for setting one cooking zone:

• Simultaneously press the - and + key of the timer control to cancel
the cooking timer.

Indication on the display Description
Error message. Place a suitable pan on the active cooking zone or switch off the cooking zone.
Something has been placed on the control or the cookware is unsuitable or too small.
H / h Residual heat indicator: the cooking zone is still too warm to touch.
II Pause indicator: the cooking zones are no longer being heated.
Lo The child lock is activated.
-- The induction hob is standby.
E/F A breakdown has occurred. Check the message using the ERROR CODE table in section 7.
88 The set power of the cooking zone or timer.
Power level Use
0 The cooking zone is switched off
1 - 2 Soft simmering and slow heating.
3 - 4 Heating and bringing to a simmer quickly.
5 - 6 Average cooking.
7 - 8 Boiling and frying.
9 / P Searing, stir-frying and bringing to a boil.
