SAFETY
Intended use
This product is a power adapter for supplying power to, for example, smartphones, tablets, eBook
readers, headphones, MP3 players and other USB-enabled devices. It is intended for indoor use only
and must not be used outdoors. It may only be operated within the power limits specied in the
technical data. Be sure to observe the safety instrucons for use.
Any other use or use beyond what is specied is deemed as not intended use and can lead to damages
and injuries. This product is not intended for commercial use or for medical and special applicaons,
where the failure of the product can cause injuries, mortalies or considerable material damages.
Claims of any type for damages resulng from use other than for the intended purpose or non-ob-
servance of the safety instrucons are excluded.
The rmware and/or hardware may be changed at any me without prior noce. For this reason it
is possible that parts of these instrucons, technical data and images in this documentaon dier
slightly from the product in your possession. All points described in these instrucons only serve the
purpose of claricaon and must not inevitably correspond to a certain situaon. Legal claims cannot
be made on the basis of these instrucons.
Safety informaon
Dangers for children and persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilies
Children oen underesmate dangers or do not recognise them at all. This device is not intended to
be used by persons (including children) with restricted sensory, physical or mental abilies or lack of
experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or
received instrucons from the person on how to use the device and they have understood the resul-
tant dangers. Unsupervised children should not have access to the device. Make sure that children
do not play with the device.
Danger of asphyxiaon!
Children may put parts of the packaging or other small parts in their mouths and choke on them.
Risk of injury!
Use the product only in accordance with its intended use and in compliance with all safety instruc-
ons and within the technical performance limits. Failure to do so may result in danger to life due
to electric shock!
Do not aempt to open the device. It does not require maintenance and must not be repaired in-
dependently. The warranty will be voided in this case. If the device is damaged, do not connue to
use it under any circumstances to avoid possible injury! Also prevent other people from using the
defecve device.
Never connect or disconnect the device from the mains socket with wet hands! This could cause an
electric shock and endanger your life!
Do not simply disconnect a damaged device from the mains socket! Make sure beforehand that the
mains supply is disconnected, for example by removing the fuse, in order to avoid a life-threatening
electric shock!
Do not insert any objects not intended for use into the openings of the device. This could result in
life-threatening injuries due to an electrical short circuit and/or a resulng re.
Before use, check that the device is suitable as a power adapter for the product to be connected. If it
is not, do not use it to avoid injury and damage due to, for example, a short circuit.
