The IN-8815 4K is the latest innovation among INSTAR’s controllable indoor
cameras. Equipped with an advanced passive infrared motion sensor (PIR) and
four separately adjustable alarm areas that can be combined with the PIR, this
camera minimizes false alarms and only noties you of real incidents.
The latest Sony 8MP CMOS image sensor, combined with Sony STARVIS tech-
nology, guarantees crystal-clear images both day and night. This technology
ensures minimal image noise and high light sensitivity, leading to precise mo-
tion detection and reliable alarm notications. Additionally, the camera utilizes
AI-powered object detection to further enhance your security.
The camera runs on an integrated Linux operating system with a built-in web
server that supports TLS encryption for secure access and data protection. Its
modern web interface (WebUI) is intuitive and optimized for all current devices
such as desktops, tablets, and smartphones. It is compatible with almost all
operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux, …). Thanks to a built-in setup as-
sistant and a helpful user guide, the camera is easy to use even for beginners.
