EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS
Please observe the following signs and words which
are used in the operating instructions, on the product
and on the packaging:
INTENDED USE
The product is intended exclusively for the
specified uses and is not intended for use in
other applications. Use the cable exclusively for char-
ging electric and hybrid vehicles with alternating cur-
rent (AC) at charging stations. The cable may only be
used together with standard-compliant vehicle inlets
(according to IEC 62196-2 type 2 plug) intended for this
purpose. Applications outside of this information are
not considered as intended, this may cause damage
to property or personal injury. We accept no liability for
damage caused by incorrect or improper use. The user
himself is liable for damage caused by improper use.
IMPROPER USE
Unintended use in the sense of foreseeable
misuse is defined as:
Non-standard use of the charging cable is not permit-
ted. Do not operate a damaged product. If damage to
the product is found, contact your dealer or dispose
of the cable.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read the entire operating ins-
tructions carefully before using
the product. They contain important information on
handling the product. If the product is passed on to
third parties, hand over these operating instructions
as well.
• Keep children away from the product and its packa-
ging. The product is not a toy. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
product.
• This product complies with IP65 when plugged in,
IP54 when unplugged.
• Do not handle the product with wet or damp hands.
• Safe operation is no longer possible if the product is
visibly damaged. If the product is damaged, it must
be disposed of or repaired properly.
• Do not repair the product yourself! Repairs may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
• Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
Never touch a unit connected to the mains if it has
fallen into water.
• Failure to observe the safety instructions may result
in damage to the unit or dangerous injury to persons!

Information: Useful additional information
about the product.
• This product is not intended for use by persons (in-
cluding children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and know-
ledge in the use of this product. Such persons must
first be instructed by a supervisor responsible for
their safety or supervised during product operation!
• Improper handling of the charging cable can cause
explosions, electric shocks and short circuits. The
generally applicable safety precautions and the inst-
ructions must be observed.
• Before each use, check the charging cable and the
contacts for damage and dirt.
• Never charge with a damaged charging cable or a
damaged vehicle inlet.
• Never charge with contacts that have become dirty
or damp.
• Never pull off the plugs with force. Dangerous elect-
ric arcs can cause death or serious injury.
• Only connect the charging cable to vehicle inlets and
infrastructure charging sockets that are protected
from water, direct sunlight, moisture and other liquids.
• There are electric vehicles that allow the vehicle to be
started with the charging cable plugged in. Always
make sure to disconnect the charging cable before
driving off.
• Never use the charging cable with an extension cable
or an adapter. Modifications or alterations are dan-
gerous to life and lead to the immediate exclusion of
the warranty.

COMMISSIONING
Follow the operating instructions for the charging sta-
tion and the electric vehicle.
1. Switch off the vehicle and put the gear lever in park.
2. Remove the protective caps from the charging plugs
and connect the infrastructure charging plug to the
infrastructure charging socket and insert the vehicle
charging plug into the vehicle inlet. Ensure correct
assignment and check that the plug connection is
correctly and completely plugged in.
3. Start the charging process at the charging station.
The charging plugs are automatically locked.
4. To end the charging process prematurely, follow the
operating instructions on the charging station.
5. When charging is complete, the charging plugs are
automatically unlocked.
6. Disconnect the charging plugs from the charging
station and the electric vehicle (vehicle must be un-
locked).
7. Put the protective caps on the two charging plugs
and roll up the cable without bending it.
CHARGING TIME
The duration of the charging process de-
pends on the capacity, the state of charge
of the high-voltage battery of your vehicle and the per-
missible charging power of the charging cable. The
charging current (max. 32A) is regulated by the vehicle.
At very low and very high temperatures, the charging
performance may be impaired.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
• Only clean the cable when it is not connected to the
vehicle or the socket.
• Only clean the charging cable and the dirty contacts
with a dry cloth.
• Never use harsh cleaning agents, water or steam
cleaners.
• Never immerse the item in liquids.
• Store the charging cable with the protective caps on
in a dry and clean place.
DISPOSAL
Electrical and electronic devices as well as bat-
teries must not be disposed of with household
waste. The consumer is legally obliged to return electri-
cal and electronic equipment as well as batteries at the
end of their service life to the public collection points
set up for this purpose or to the points of sale.
The product complies with the requirements
of the EU directive.
Dispose of the unusable product in accor-
dance with the legal requirements.
