5. Daily use
5.1 Card reading
5.1.1 Swiping a card
Insert the card manually in the reader, magnetic stripe facing the
display of the terminal, and slide the card from the rear to the front (
either from up to down or from down to up ) in a continuous motion
for best results.
5.1.2 Swiping a smart card
Chip cards should be inserted into your terminal as illustrated with
the chip facing up and into the card reader.
