5. Recommendations
5.1 Safety
Lithium cell
The AXIUM EX8000 is fitted with an internal lithium cell which should only
be accessed by a qualified technician.
Battery
AXIUM EX8000 is fitted with battery specially designed for this
terminal.
Only use the approved power supplies, cables and batteries listed in
the Ingenico’s catalogue.
Do not short-circuit the battery.
Do not attempt to open the battery.
Used batteries must be disposed of at the appropriated sites.

The battery fuel gauge / percentage meter drops randomly
