Troubleshooting
BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
Check the points listed here before you call for help, and make sure that you have followed the Important safety
Instructions within this manual.
Problem Possible causes Solution
Dryer won't start • Power cut.
• The power plug isn't
plugged in properly.
• The dryer is overloaded.
• The temperature fuse is
blown.
• Wait for power to be restored.
• Check the power point, make sure the plug is inserted
firmly.
• The clothes must be spun, and the drying load
shouldn't exceed the rated capacity.
• Replace the temperature fuse.
The appliance gets hot
or smells burnt
• The lint filter is blocked.
• The intake or exhaust
duct is blocked.
• Make sure to clean the lint filter after each cycle.
• Clean the exhaust duct.
Clothes are too dry • The machine is
overloaded.
• Clothes weren't taken
out on time after
finishing.
• Clothes weren't
sorted properly.
• The selected
temperature is too high.
• Don't exceed the rated capacity.
• Take out the clothes immediately after the program
finishes.
• Observe the care label on clothes.
Clothes shrink • Laundry is over-dried. • Observe the care label on clothes.
• If items are sensitive to shrinking, check the clothes
when dry. Take out the clothes when damp. Then hang
the clothes until fully dry.
Pilling on clothes • Laundry is sensitive
to rubbing.
• Use fabric softener to lubricate fibres.
• Use spray laundry starch on cus and necklines
when ironing clothes.
• Turn the laundry inside out to avoid pilling.
Important!
• Heavy, wet clothes turning and bumping will cause noise accordingly while the dryer runs.
• During the drying cycle, the machine will create airflow, which will cause noise when hitting the drum.
• To operate all vented clothes dryers eciently, the clothes dryer must have an unrestricted air supply and exhaust
ventilation. Service calls resulting from installation where ventilation is restricted are not covered by warranty. The
cost of this type of service call will be charged to the customer. Should you require further instructions in the use
