CAUTION: Take care when frying, as oils and fats
can heat up quickly At extremely high temperatures oil and fat will ignite spontaneously, presenting a serious fire and
safety risk.
General Cooking Tips & Tricks
• When liquids come to a boil, quickly reduce the temperature setting to avoid the liquid boiling over
and out of the pot, or to avoid burning your food.
• Using a lid when cooking will reduce cooking times
and save energy by retaining heat.
• Minimising the amount of liquid or fat can reduce
cooking times, as the more liquid added increases
the time required to heat the food suciently.
• It can be helpful to begin cooking on a high heat
setting, and then reducing as the foot has properly heated up, speeding up the cooking process.
