STEP 1: UPPER GUIDE
1. Remove the air conditioner and upper guide
(Part C) from the package and place them up-
right on a flat surface.
2. Align the hole in the upper guide with the
holes on the unit
3. Fasten the upper guide to the unit with the
short screws (Part A).
NOTE: The “higher side” of the upper guide will face
the interior.
STEP 2: CURTAIN (WINDOW FILLER)
1. Insert the side curtains (Part E) into the up-
per and lower guides of the air condition-
er unit and fasten them to the unit with
the short screws (Part A). The curtains are
side-specific; ensure the le and right cur-
tains are attached to the correct side.
NOTE: The upper guide and the curtains are oset
to place the unit at the proper angle in the rear and
ensure proper water condensation and drainage.
STEP 3: PLACING THE UNIT INTO THE WINDOW
1. Carefully li the air conditioner unit and place it into the open window so the base
of the unit rests on the window sill. Carefully lower and close the window behind
the upper guide. Ensure that all curtains and guides are inside the room and not
blocked into the window sill or frame.
STEP 4: SECURELY FASTEN THE AIR CONDITIONER
1. Extend the curtain panels to fill the
window opening.
2. Place the curtain lock (Part F) be-
tween the curtain extensions and the
window sill. Insert the locking wood
screws (Part B) through the sash lock
and into the window sill.
3. Secure the le and right flanges on
the unit base with the locking wood
screws (Part B)
4. Drive locking wood screws (Part B)
through the upper frame holes into
the window sash.
