WEATHER-PROOF WINDOW MODIFICATIONS
If you have weather proof windows, the exterior window frame will be slightly higher
than the window sill, which results in a slanted air conditioning unit that will not properly
drain. Perform these modifications to ensure proper operation of your unit. If you have a
standard window, skip this step.
1. Cut a 2” thick piece of wood to the length of the the interior window width.
2. Verify that the wood is level with or up to 0.5” (1cm) higher than the exterior weath-
erproof frame.
3. Fasten the wood with screws to the windows sill and proceed with mounting.
INSTALLING YOUR UNIT
STEP 1: MOUNTING THE UPPER GUIDE RAIL
1. Tear the backing o of the sealing strip (#1) with adhesive. Align the strip to the
base of the upper guide rail (#2).
2. Use four Type A screws to mount the upper guide rail to the unit case.

STEP 2: MOUNTING THE FLEXIBLE SCREEN
1. Slide the screens into the guide rails on the right and le side of the unit.
2. Gently press the upper and lower ends of the screen into the upper and lower
guide rails on the unit.
