There are three possible installation methods according to the wall stud position and exhaust mode, as shown below. Please
select an appropriate installation method as needed.

1 Using an edge-to-edge stud finder, locate the edges of the wall stud(s) within the
opening.
Note: To quickly find the next wallstud, the distance between two adjacent wall studs
should be 16" or 24" from this mark.
2 Mark the center of each stud, then draw a vertical line down the center of each stud.

1 À l’aide d’un détecteur de montants d’un bord à l’autre, repérez les bords du ou des
montants muraux à l’intérieur de l’ouverture.
Remarque: Pour trouver rapidement le montant mural suivant, la distance entre deux
montants muraux adjacents doit être de 16po ou 24po à partir de cette marque.
2 Marquez le centre de chaque montant, puis tracez une ligne verticale au centre de
chaque montant.
