6 Electrical connection
The unit must be connected by a qualified electrician.
The national and international regulations for the installation of electrical equipment must be
adhered to.
Supply voltage SELV, PELV according to the technical data sheet.
u Disconnect power.
u Connect the unit as follows:

u For safe function, the sensor housing must be electrically
connected to the counter-electrode (grounding).
u Use the housing connection (see drawing) and a short
piece of cable with a wire cross-section of at least
1.5mm

u For plastic tanks, a counter-electrode must be provided,
e.g. a metal plate inside the tank in parallel with the probe.
Adhere to minimum distances to the probe.
When using metal tanks, the tank wall serves as the counter-electrode.
