9.1.3 Fieldbus interface
The [fieldbus] menu provides access to the configuration of the fieldbus interface.
The fieldbus interface can only be configured via the fieldbus configuration software.
9.1.3.1 Configuring the ModbusTCP interface
The ModbusTCP interface of the device must be configured for communication with the ModbusTCP
network.
Available parameters:

• Static IP: IP parameters are set by the

• DHCP: IP parameters are set by a
DHCP server in the network (default)
• BOOTP: IP parameters are set via the
Bootstrap Protocol

To configure the ModbusTCP interface:
Requirements:
ü The parameter setting software has been started.
ü The connection to the device has been established.
u Select the [fieldbussetup] > [network] menu.
w The menu page shows the current settings.
u Set IP parameters of the interface.
u Write the changed values to the device.
u Restart the device.
w The ModbusTCP interface is configured
9.1.3.2 Setting ModbusTCP-specific parameters
Changes to the [byteswap] parameters will only take effect after the device has been restarted.
