4.8 Measurement of current consumption
This function is only available in operating mode [Acyclic Enhanced].
Current consumption measurement (mA) is active after the device is started, and is transmitted via the
IO-Link parameter [Current] (index 15106). This function is available in all port modes.
The device determines the following measured values:
• Input current of all sensor supplies (total current at pin 1 of ports X1.0...X1.7)
• output currents of the individual ports X1.0...X1.7 (total current at pin 2 and pin 4 of each port)

4.8.1 Configuration
To determine the current consumption, it is possible to set the averaging time separately for each
current. This is done via the corresponding subindex of the parameter [Current avg time] (index
15107).
The measured current can be averaged over any value from 100...1000 ms.
