u Connect the device via the ports X21, X22 with the EtherNet/IP network.
u For connection, use an RJ45 connector (minimum protection rating: IP 20).
6.4 IoT port
The IoT port connects the device to an IT network (e.g. laptop with ifm moneo|configure or IoT-
enabled software).

u Connect the device to the IT network via port X23.
u For connection, use an RJ45 connector (minimum protection rating: IP 20).
6.5 IO-Link ports (Class A)
IO-Link devices (sensors, actuators) are connected to the device via the IO-Link ports.
The IO-Link ports X01...X08 meet the requirements of the IO-Link specifications 1.0 to 1.1.2.
CAUTION
Supply of energy to the IO-Link ports
w Risk of fire
u Prevent supply and feedback of energy to the IO-Link ports.
u Before set-up check the correct connection of the supply cables.
6.5.1 Connecting IO-Link devices (Class A)
Wiring information:
• The connected IO-Link devices must be supplied exclusively via the IO-Link master.
• The ports X01...X08 have an additional digital input (type 2, according to IEC 61131-2). The
connected electronics must be electrically suited for this.

u Connect the IO-Link devices to ports X01...X08. Maximum cable length per port: 20 m.
u For the connection, only use cables with the minimum protection rating IP 20.
