5 Installation
5.1 Install device
u Disconnect the power of the machine before installation.
u Only install the device on a grounded DIN rail.
u Integrate the device into a control cabinet (minimum protection: IP 20). The control cabinet should
be installed in accordance with local and national rules and regulations.
u Install the device vertically on a 35 mm DIN rail.
u Leave enough space between the device and the top or bottom of the control cabinet as well as to
adjacent devices to enable air circulation and to avoid inadmissible heating.
