ü IP parameters of the Ethernet interface of the TwinCAT PC are set (e.g. IP address: 192.168.3.1,
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0)
u In the [Solution Explorer]: Select the node of the EtherCAT master.
w The detail window shows device settings.
u Select the [EtherCAT] tab.
w The detail window shows EtherCAT settings.
u Click on [Advanced Settings…].
w A dialogue window appears.
u Select the [EoE Support] menu item.
u Set the parameters as follows:
u Click on [OK].
w The EoE protocol is activated and configured on the EtherCAT master.
u In the [Solution Explorer]: Select the node of the device.
w The detail window shows device settings.
u Select the [EtherCAT] tab.
w The detail window shows EtherCAT settings.
u Click on [Advanced Settings…].
w A dialogue window appears.
u Select the [Mailbox] > [EOE] menu item.
u Activate the [Virtual Ethernet Port] parameters.
u Activate the [IP Port] parameters.
u Enter IP settings of the device in the Ethernet network.
u Click on [OK].
w The EoE protocol is activated and configured on the EtherCAT slave.
