9.3 IoT Core Visualizer
The IoT Core Visualizer provides a graphical user interface to access the functions of the ifm IoT
Core.
9.3.1 Starting the ifm IoT Core Visualizer
To start the ifm IoT Core Visualizer:
Requirements:
ü The IO-Link master is connected to the IT network via the IoT port.
ü Ethernet interface has been configured correctly.
u Start web browser.
u Go to the following URL: http://<ip-address>/web/subscribe (e.g. http://192.168.178.1/web/
subscribe )
w The web browser displays the start page of the IoT Core Visualizer.
The navigation menu gives the user access to the following functions:
• [Notification]: Creating, managing and deleting notifications
• [Elements]: Search for elements in the device description
• [Parameter]: Configuring the IO-Link master
• [Processdata]: Accessing process data
• Update: Update firmware
