eWaste, or Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEET), refers
to discarded appliances using
electricity. To responsibly manage
eWaste, follow the guidelines below.
• Always dispose of end-of-lifecycle products
by contacting an authorised local eWaste recycler.
• Do drop o used electronic products, baeries,
or accessories at authorised eWaste recyclers.
• Sort packaging materials for responsible waste
disposal and recycling options whenever possible
or as instructed.
DOs
• Do not dismantle electronic products on your own.
• Never dispose of electronic products in bins
marked 'Do Not Dispose'.
• Refrain from giving eWaste to informal sectors
like local scrap dealers or rag pickers.
• Do not dispose of your product in garbage bins
along with municipal waste that ultimately
reaches landfills.
