VACUUMING
Air and humidity left inside the refrigerant
circuit can cause compressor
malfunction. After having connected the
indoor and outdoor units, remove the air
and humidity from the refrigerant Circuit
by using a vacuum pump.
NOTE:
Only persons or companies qualified and
experienced in the installation, service and repair of
refrigerant products should be permitted to do so. The
purchaser must Ensure that the person and/or
company who is to install, service or repair this Air
conditioner has qualifications
and experience in refrigerant products.
After completing the piping, purge the air
from the connected pipe and cooling unit.
If this is not done, the discharge pressure
will rise abnormally and may damage the
refrigerating-cycle unit.
AIR PURGING USING A VACUUM PUMP
Remove the valve cap of the valve core.
Connect one end of the charge hose
to the vacuum pump and the other end
to the service valve with the large
diameter pipe side service valve.
Fully open the LO knob of the manifold
valve and energize both solenoid valves.
Run the vacuum pump.
Vacuum the AC as recommended.
Close the LO knob of the manifold valve.
Stop the vacuum pump.
Remove the valve cap from the spindle of
the service valve.
Turn the spindles of the large and small
diameter pipe side service valves fully
counter-clockwise until they are securely
tightened. Then, retighten them more
than 10 degrees using a hexagon wrench
key of 4/5 mm.
Disconnect the charge hose from the
service valve.

refrigerant products.
