General
Setup Type
Selects the setup mode. Select Basic or Advanced when
controlling devices via RS485 connection only, or select Advanced
when controlling devices via network and RS485 connection.
When selecting the Advanced mode, you can only register devices
with an aid of the IDIS Discovery program.
Port
Selects the device to control via RS485 connection and congure
the RS485 port information for RS485 communication. If you want
to congure the port information for PTZ cameras in Advanced
mode, you must run the IDIS Discovery program. If the port
information for PTZ cameras is dierent from each other, the
cameras can only be controlled in Advanced mode but not in Basic
mode.
Setup
Number of CAMs
Enters the number of connected cameras when controlling PTZ
cameras via RS485 connection.
485ID, Model
Sets the RS485 ID and model number for a PTZ camera for RS485
communication. The RS485 ID is used to distinguish the camera
from others when controlling it with a network keyboard, so each
must have a unique RS485 ID. Check the model number of the
PTZ camera after seeing Part 6 - Appendix > PTZ Camera Model
Numbers.
