6.16 Set focus when switching between black and white.
6.16.1 Focus adjustment method for switching between black and white
When [Adjusting method] is set to [Auto], the camera may not be able to focus when switching
between black and white if, under low light conditions, spot-light such as street lights or flat
object is reflected. If this is the case, set preset registration as shown below.
➣ Live image pages configuration panels>[Detailed setting]>[Camera detailed setting]> [Zoom]
of the Advanced menus on the left>When [Zoom/Focus] tab is clicked, the Zoom/focus
adjustment setup page is displayed.
1. Set [Adjusting method]
・ Set [Day & Night(IR)] to [Fixed focus shift(Normal)] when used with either [Off], [On(IR
Light Off)], [On(IR Light On)], [Auto1(IR Light Off)], [Auto2(IR Light On)], or
[Auto3(SCC)].
・ When [Day & Night(IR)] is used in [Auto4(LPR)], set it to [Fixed focus shift(LPR)].
* Day & Night(IR) can be set in the Picture Adjust Settings window, which is displayed by
clicking Live image pages configuration panels>[Detailed setting]>[Camera detailed settin
g]>[Image/Audio] of the Advanced menus on the left>[Image adjust] in the [Image quality]
tabs>When [Setup].
2. Use [Manual focus adjustment] to adjust the focus position in daytime color or nighttime
black and white conditions
