Safety Information
• Before starting the machine, make sure that the feeder is empty.
• WARNING! This power tool generates an electromagnetic field during operation.
Under certain circumstances, this field may affect active or passive medical
implants. To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we recommend that individuals
with medical implants consult your physician and the manufacturer of the medical
implant before operating the machine.
• Always stand clear of the discharge zone when operating the machine.
• If the machine becomes clogged, shut off the power source and disconnect
from power supply before clearing debris. Keep the power source clear of debris
and other accumulations to prevent damage to the power source or possible fire.
• DO NOT transport the machine whilst connected to a live power source.
• DO NOT fill soft waste such as kitchen rubbish into the shredder.
• DO NOT insert material too big for the shredder to process.
• DO NOT exceed the shredder’s collection bag limit. This can to lead to debris
being ejected back up through the inlet chute.
• To make finer compost, the shredded material can be processed for a second
time.
• Organic material contains a large amount of water and sap that could stick to
the shredder. To avoid this, the material should be left for a few days to dry out.
However, large branches are best shredded when they are fresh.
• If during cutting the blade stalls, stop the shredder immediately and disconnect it
from the mains supply before investigating the cause. Remove jammed debris from
the blades and examine them for any damage before starting shredding again.

recommend that you wear a face mask suitable to protect against wood dust.
