Blade Replacement
!
ALWAYS wear gloves when working on the shredder’s blades.
!
WARNING! Only replace worn or damaged parts with original replacements.
Parts used from other manufacturers may damage the machine and can lead to
the risk of serious injury.
1. Unscrew the housing lock anti-clockwise to open the main unit’s cover.
2. Lock the blade plate in place by slotting a screwdriver through the access hole
(as illustrated in the picture below).
NOTE: You will need to rotate the blade plate until the screwdriver slots between
one of the blade openings.
Once perfectly aligned and locked in place, you will be able to reach the blade
beneath the blade plate’s protective metal casing.
3. Use the hex key to loosen and remove both screws on the blade to remove the
blade.
4. When mounting the new blade, re-insert the screws and tighten with the hex
key.
5. Repeat the above sequence in its exact entirety with the other blade.

The blades have two cutting edges, which can be turned around. ALWAYS
replace and turn the blades in pairs. DO NOT attempt to sharpen the blades.
!
WARNING! Ensure the machine is switched off and the plug has been
disconnected from the power supply. Moving blades can cause serious injury.
