Reverse Stitch Button

As long as you keep the reverse stitch but-

ton depressed, the machine sews back-

wards.

Dropping the Feed Teeth

1 Open the hook cover.

2 To drop the feed teeth, pull down the

lever and move it in the direction of the

arrow, as illustrated.

3 To raise the feed teeth, pull down the

lever and move it in the direction of the

arrow, as illustrated.

NOTE: The feed teeth must be up for normal sewing.

Presser Foot Pressure Dial

The presser foot pressure dial should be set

at "3" for regular sewing. Reduce the pres-

sure to "2" for applique, cut work, drawn

work, basting and embroidery. Set the pres-

sure dial to "3" when sewing chiffon, lace,

organdy and other ﬁ ne fabrics. Velours and

knits with a lot of stretch may require a "1"

setting.
