A PC software package is available for your

HUSQVARNA VIKING

®

DESIGNER RUBY Royale

™

sewing and embroidery machine. It adds the following

features:

• Communication module allows you to connect the

machine to your computer. Required to use the Send To

features in any Embroidery System module.

• QuickFont program to create unlimited number of

embroidery fonts from most TrueType

®

and OpenType

®

fonts on your computer.

• Plug-in for your Windows Explorer to handle

embroidery designs: viewing designs as thumbnail

images, reading different embroidery le formats, add

trim commands and more.

This software should be installed before the machine

is connected to your computer for the rst time. Go to

machine model and download the software. When you install

you will be asked for an Installation Code. Enter number:

9200

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR MACHINE

You can update your machine using the USB embroidery

stick or the USB cable packed with your machine (P/N:412

62 59-04).

retailer for updates and upgrades

for your machine and User’s Guide.

UPDATING INSTRUCTIONS

Go to the HUSQVARNA VIKING

®

website at

www.husqvarnaviking.com and nd your sewing machine.

Here you will nd updates available for your machine.

• Download the update software to your USB embroidery

stick. Make sure that your machine is turned off.

Connect the USB embroidery stick loaded with the new

software version to the USB port on your machine.

• Press and hold the Needle Up/Down

and Selective

buttons until your machine is turned

on.

• Follow the instructions on the Large Interactive Screen.

• When the update is completed the machine will restart

automatically. Check the software version number in My

Info.
