Verify that the printheads are installed properly
Take note of the following before you begin.
NOTE:
● The instructions here are only applicable in this section. After you have set up the printer, do not open
the printhead cover unless instructed.
●
Handle printheads with care. Do not drop the printheads, and do not touch the electric contacts or print
nozzles on any surface.
1. Make sure the printer is turned on.
2. Open the front door. Wait for the print carriage to move to the center and stop.
3. Remove and reinsert the printhead.
a. Press and release the blue latch to open the printhead cover.
