5. Make sure the printhead cover is properly closed.
NOTE: After you have set up the printer, do not open the printhead cover unless instructed.
6. Close the front door.
7. Open the output tray extender.
Bottom of the printer
Open the bottom access door and remove any jammed paper.
NOTE: Follow the instructions in this section after you have tried other ways to clear paper jams. Before
you begin, make sure the ink tank caps are rmly closed to prevent ink leaks.
1. Press the Cancel button to cancel printing. If this does not clear the error, complete the following
steps to clear the jam manually.
2. Press the Power button to turn o the printer, and then unplug the power cord.
