– On the Layout or Paper/Quality tab, click the Advanced button to open the Advanced Options dialog
box.
– From the Print in Grayscale drop-down list, select Black Ink Only, and then click OK.

To prevent printer damage or ink leaks, follow these instructions.
If you are moving the printer within your home or oice, keep the printhead cover closed and the printer
horizontal.
To move the printer to a dierent location outside of your home or oice, refer to the instructions in the inbox
manual provided with the printer, or visit hp.com/support/movingsmarttank.
