available on certain printers or models.
● You can download from the respective app stores for the device.

Follow these steps to install the software.
1. Visit 123.hp.com to download and install the software on your device. For computer users, search for “HP
Smart Tank 5000/5100”.
2. Open the software.
3. If prompted, create or sign in to an HP account and register the printer.
4. Connect the printer. See Connect your printer.
Use the HP printer software (Windows)
You can use the HP printer software to change printer settings, check estimated ink levels, order printing
supplies, maintain the printer, resolve printing issues, and more.
● This printer uses HP Smart Tank 5100 series software and drivers.
● Each device must have the software installed in order to print.
● If you are using Windows 7, Service Pack 1 (SP1) is required to install HP printer software.
Follow these steps to install the software.
1. Visit 123.hp.com, search for “HP Smart Tank 5000/5100”, and install the software on your computer.
Alternatively, go to hp.com/support.
2. Open the software.
● Windows 10: From the computer desktop, click Start, select HP from the app list, and then select the
icon with the printer name.
● Windows 7: From the computer desktop, click Start, select All Programs, click HP, click the folder for the
printer, and then select the icon with the printer name.
