Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 19).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 19).
3. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 20).
4. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 21).
Remove the hard drive:
1. Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the rear of the hard drive.
2. Remove the three screws (1) that secure the hard drive to the computer, and then lift the drive (2) out
of the computer.
NOTE: Be sure to hold the drive as you remove the screws so it does not fall into the computer.
