1. Disconnect the webcam/microphone module cable (1) from the system board.
2. Release the webcam/microphone module cable from the retention clips (2) that are built into the
computer.
3. Disconnect the WLAN module antenna cables (3) from the WLAN module.
NOTE: Computer models have either one or two WLAN module antenna cables. On computer
models with two antennas, the #1 white cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Main terminal. The
#2 black WLAN module antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Aux terminal.
4. Disconnect the display panel cable (4) from the system board.
5. Release the display panel cable and the WLAN module antenna cables from the retention clips (5)
that are built into the computer.
6. Rotate the computer to open the hinges (1).
7. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 5.0 screw (2) and seven Phillips M2.5 × 6.0 screws (3) that secure the
display assembly to the computer.
