1. Carefully disconnect the two WLAN module antenna cables (1) from the module.
NOTE: Computer models have either one or two WLAN module antenna cables. On computer
models with two antennas, the #1 white cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Main terminal. The
#2 black WLAN module antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Aux terminal.
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (2) that secures the WLAN module to the system board.
3. Pull the WLAN module (3) away from the socket to remove it.
4. If the WLAN module antenna cable is not connected to the terminal on the WLAN module, you must
install a protective sleeve on the antenna connector, as shown in the following illustration.
To install the WLAN module, reverse this procedure.
