3. Remove the two M2.0 × 2.0 screws (2) that secure the top-cover camera and bracket to the
computer.
4. Remove the top-cover camera bracket (3) from the computer.
5. Remove the top-cover camera (4) from the computer.
To install the top-cover camera, reverse this procedure.
Top-cover camera-board cable
To remove the top-cover camera-board cable, use this procedure and illustration.
NOTE: The top-cover camera-board cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number M03431-001.
Before removing the top-cover camera-board cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 34).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 35).
Remove the top-cover camera-board cable:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) the top-cover camera-board cable is connected to, and then
disconnect the cable from the system board.
2. Release the ZIF connector (2) the top-cover camera-board cable is connected to, and then
disconnect the cable from the top cover camera board.
