Fix network connection issues
Choose one of the following troubleshooting options:
● Print and check the wireless network test report and network conguration page to assist in diagnosing
network connection issues. See Print reports from the printer control panel.
● Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor to help diagnose and automatically x network connection issues.
You can also use this tool to nd network settings, such as the network name (SSID) and password (network
key).
● Ensure that rewalls and security software (including anti-virus, anti-spyware programs) are not aecting
the printer connection to your network.

● Reset the printer network settings and reconnect the printer.
Restore original factory defaults and settings
Learn how to reset printer factory defaults and network settings.

If the setup mode times out after some time, try pressing the Wi-Fi button to turn it back on. If this
does not work, you can restart the setup mode by resetting the printer network settings.
● You can also troubleshoot network related issues by resetting the printer network settings.
● If you reset the printer network settings, you must reconnect the printer to the network. See Connect your
printer.
Restore printer factory defaults from the control panel
Resetting the printer removes previously congured settings and preferences.
1. Open the cartridge access door.
2. Press the Wi-Fi button and the Power button at the same time for 3 seconds.
The reset process could take up to 20 seconds.
Reset printer network settings from the control panel
Press the Cancel button and the Wi-Fi button at the same time for 3 seconds.
Restore printer factory defaults or network settings from EWS
Resetting the printer removes previously congured settings and preferences.
1. Open the EWS. See Access and use the EWS.
2. Click the Settings tab.
3. Click Restore Defaults, and then select the option to restore the factory default settings or network settings.
4. Click the button on the selected page to continue.
