1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the fingerprint reader (1).
NOTE: To replace the fingerprint reader cable you must remove the system board.
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (2) from the fingerprint reader bracket, and then remove the
bracket (3).
3. Remove the fingerprint reader from the computer (4).
To install the fingerprint reader, reverse this procedure.
NOTE: When replacing the fingerprint reader bracket, insert it into the tab on the computer chassis at
an angle (1), press it down into place (2), and then replace the screw (3).
