Memory cover
NOTE: The memory cover is included in the Plastics Kit, spare part number 802476-001.
Before removing the memory cover, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (See
Battery on page 23).
Remove the memory cover:
1. Loosen the Phillips PM2.5×4.5 captive screw (1) that secures the memory cover to the computer.
2. Lift the rear edge of the memory cover (2) until it rests at an angle.
3. Remove the memory cover (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the memory cover.
