■ Vor dem Einlegen der Batterien prüfen, ob die Kontakte
im Produkt und an den Batterien sauber sind, und ggf.
reinigen.
■ Nur den in den technischen Daten angegebenen Batterie-
typ verwenden.
■ Immer alle Batterien ersetzen. Keine verschiedenen Batte-
rie- Typen, -Marken oder Batterien mit unterschiedlicher Ka-
pazität benutzen. Beim Batterietausch auf die Polarität (+ / –)
achten.
■ Die Batterien aus dem Produkt herausnehmen, wenn diese
verbraucht sind oder das Produkt längere Zeit nicht benutzt
wird. So werden Schäden durch Auslaufen vermieden.
■ Das Produkt vor offenem Feuer und Stößen schützen.
■ Die Säule niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten
tauchen! Sie ist lediglich spritzwassergeschützt.
■ Bei extremen Wetterbedingungen (z. B. Sturm, Hagel) oder
wenn das Produkt längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, den Pro-
dukt ausschalten und an einem trockenen Ort aufbewahren.
■ Das Produkt nicht auseinandernehmen und nicht versu-
chen, ihn zu reparieren. Bei Schäden den Kundenservice
kontaktieren.
■ Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reini-
gungsmittel verwenden. Diese können die Oberfl äche be-
schädigen.
Lieferumfang
Überprüfe den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit und die
Bestandteile auf mögliche Transportschäden. Verwende das
Produkt bei Schäden nicht, sondern den Kundenservice kon-
taktieren.

Es werden 2 x 1,5 V-Batterie des Typs AA benötigt.
Diese sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Batterien einlegen / wechseln
Das Batteriefach befi ndet sich an der Oberseite der Pfl anzsäule.
1. Nimm die Schale ab.
2. Biege die zwei Fixierungen am Batteriefach nach oben.
3. Greif unter den Rand des Batteriefachs und nehme es aus
der Pfl anzsäule heraus.
4. Löse mit einem Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher die Schrau-
ben und nimm den Batteriefachdeckel ab.
5. Entnimm ggf. verbrauchte Batterien und lege zwei neue
Batterien (1,5 V; AA) ein. Achte dabei auf die korrekte
Polarität (+ / –) (siehe Innenseite Batteriefach).
6. Setze den Batteriefachdeckel auf und fi xiere ihn mit den
Schrauben. Achte dabei auf die richtige Position des Ein- /
Ausschalters.
7. Setze das Batteriefach in die Aussparung auf der Oberseite
der Pfl anzsäule ein und drücke es fest.
8. Biege die beiden Fixierungen nach unten.

Wenn die Leistung des Produktes nachlässt oder er zu fl ackern
beginnt, solltest du die Batterien ersetzen.
Bei starken Minustemperaturen kann die Batterieleistung
stark beeinträchtigt werden.
Benutzung
1. Produkt platzieren – Stelle das Produkt an geeigneter Stelle
auf.
2. Einschalten – Drücke den Ein- / Ausschalter an der Pfl anz-
säule, um die LED einzuschalten.
TIMER: Die LED leuchtet für 6 Stunden, bevor sie sich
automatisch ausschaltet. Nach 18Stunden schaltet sie
sich automatisch wieder ein (24-Stunden-Modus). Hast du
den Timer einmal aktiviert, speichert das Produkt diese
Einstellung ab. Du kannst das Produkt jederzeit über den
Ein- / Ausschalter erneut ein- oder ausschalten.
3. Ausschalten – Drücke den Ein- / Ausschalter, um die LED
auszuschalten.

nehmen und getrennt von dem Produkt an entsprechen-

Explanation of the Signal Words
WARNING warns of possible serious injuries and danger
to life
Intended Use
• This product is suitable for use as a decoration indoors and
outdoors. The bowl can be planted with fl owers, fi lled with
water etc.
• The product is not a toy!
• The product is for household use only and is not intended
for commercial applications.
• The product should only be used as described in these
operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be im-
proper.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
■ WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep the packaging
material away from children and animals.
■ WARNING – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid!
– Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and
the product out of the reach of children and animals.
If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance
immediately.
– If a battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes
and mucous membranes to come into contact with the
battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected
area with abundant fresh water immediately and contact
a doctor as soon as possible.
■ Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts
in the product and on the batteries are clean, and clean
them if necessary.
■ Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■ Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batter-
ies of different types or brands, or batteries with different
capacities. When replacing batteries, ensure the correct
polarity (+ / –).
■ Take the batteries out of the product when they are dead or
if the product is not going to be used for a prolonged period.
This will prevent any damage if a battery leaks.
■ Protect the product from naked fl ames and impact.
■ Never immerse the tower in water or other liquids. It is only
resistant to splashing.
■ During extreme weather conditions (e. g. storm, hail) or if
the product will not be used for a long time, switch it off and
store it in a dry place.

it. In the event of any damage, please contact our customer
service department.
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for
cleaning. These can damage the surface.
Items Supplied
Check the items supplied for completeness and the compo-
nents for transport damage. If you fi nd any transport damage,
do not use the product, but contact the customer service
department.

2 x 1.5V batteries of the AA type are required. These
are not supplied with the product.
Inserting / Changing Batteries
The battery compartment is located on the top of the plant
tower.
1. Take off the bowl.
2. Bend the two fi xations on the battery compartment upwards.
3. Reach under the edge of the battery compartment and take
it off.
4. Undo the screws with a cross-head screwdriver and re-
move the battery compartment cover.
5. Take used batteries out if necessary and insert two new
batteries (1.5 V; AA). Pay attention to the correct polarity
(+ / –) (see inside of battery compartment).
6. Place the battery compartment cover back and fi x it in
place with the screws. Make sure the On / Off switch is in
the correct position.
7. Insert the battery compartment into the recess on the top
of the plant tower and press it shut.
8. Bend the two fi xations down.

If the performance of the product diminishes or it starts to
fl icker, the batteries should be replaced.
The battery performance may be severely restricted in
temperatures well below freezing.
Use
1. Positioning the Product – Set up the product in a suitable
place.
2. Switching On – Press the On / Off button to switch on the
LED.
TIMER: The LED lights up for 6 hours before automatically
switching off. It automatically switches back on again after
18 hours (24-hour mode). Once the timer has been activated,
the product saves this setting. The article can be switched
off or on by pressing the On / Off button.
3. Switching Off – Press the On / Off button to switch off the
LED.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.
Batteries should be removed before the product is dis-
posed of and should be disposed of separately from the
product at suitable collection points.

ment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this product as normal

sionnel.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

– Si une pile fuit, évitez tout contact de la peau, des yeux ou
des muqueuses avec l’électrolyte. En cas de contact avec
l’électrolyte, rincez immédiatement et abondamment à l’eau
claire les zones touchées, puis consultez un médecin sans
attendre.
■ Avant de mettre les piles en place, vérifi ez si les contacts
dans le produit et sur les piles sont propres; nettoyez-les
le cas échéant.
■ Utilisez uniquement le type de pile indiqué dans les «Ca-
ractéristiques techniques».
■ Remplacez toujours toutes les piles en même temps. N’uti-
lisez pas de piles de type, de marque ou de capacité diffé-
rents. Au remplacement des piles, respectez la polarité (+ / –).
■ Retirez les piles du produit lorsqu’elles sont usées ou si
vous n’utilisez plus le produit pendant une assez longue
période. Vous éviterez ainsi les dommages dus à d’éven-
tuelles fuites.
■ Veillez à ce que le produit ne soit pas soumis à des chocs;
maintenez-le loin de toute fl amme et source de chaleur.
■ N’immergez jamais la colonne dans l’eau ou tout autre
liquide. Elle est seulement dotée d’une protection an-
ti-éclaboussures.
■ Dans des conditions météorologiques extrêmes (par ex.
en cas de tempête ou d’orage de grêle) ou lorsque le pro-
duit n’est pas utilisé pendant une période prolongée, étei-
gnez-le et rangez-le dans un endroit sec.
■ Ne démontez pas le produit et ne tentez pas de le réparer.
En cas d’endommagement, contactez le service après-vente.
■ Pour le nettoyage, n’utilisez pas de produits nettoyants
corrosifs ou abrasifs. car ceux-ci risquent d’endommager
la surface du produit.
Composition
Assurez-vous que l’ensemble livré soit au complet et que les
composants ne présentent pas de dommages imputables au
transport. Si le produit est endommagé, ne l’utilisez pas, mais
contactez le service après-vente.

2 piles de 1,5V de type AA sont par ailleurs requises.
Celles-ci ne sont pas fournies.
Mise en place / remplacement des piles
Le compartiment à piles se trouve au niveau de la partie supé-
rieure de la colonne végétale.
1. Ôtez la coupelle.
2. Pliez les deux fi xations du compartiment des piles vers le
haut.
3. Glissez les doigts sous le rebord du compartiment à piles
et retirez celui-ci.
4. Desserrez les vis à l’aide d’un tournevis cruciforme pour
ôter le cache du compartiment à piles.
5. Retirez les piles éventuellement usagées et insérez deux
piles neuves (1,5V; AA). Veuillez respecter la bonne polarité
(+ / –) (voir intérieur du compartiment à piles).
6. Remettez en place le cache du compartiment à piles en
resserrant les vis. Veillez à la position correcte de l’inter-
rupteur marche / arrêt.
