Requiredowingwaterpressuretothedishmachineis15-65PSIG.Ifowingpressures
higher than 65 PSIG are present, a pressure regulating valve must be installed in the water
linetothedishmachine(byothers).Ifowingpressureislessthan15psi,impropermachine
operation may result. All PWn models are equipped with a pumped rinse system; therefore,
a water pressure gauge is not required and is not supplied with the machine.
The water pressure regulator must have a relief bypass. Failure to use
the proper type of pressure regulator may result in damage to the unit.
A manual shutoff valve (not supplied) should be installed upstream of the ll hose to
accommodate servicing the machine. It is recommended that a line strainer (not supplied)
be installed in the supply line between the manual shutoff valve (not supplied) and the
connection point on the machine. Make plumbing connections with ½” minimum copper
pipingOD(¾”recommended)witha¾”malegardenhosetting(notsupplied).
The PW10n-BAS and PW20n-BAS models ship with a 9’ long fill hose with a
¾”femalegardenhosettingforthehotwatersupply.ThePW10n-ADV,PW10n-ADVSW,
PW20n-ADV,PW12n-ADVandPW12n-ADVSWmodelsshipwithtwo9’longllhoseswith
¾”femalegardenhosettings;oneforthehotwatersupplyandoneforthecold-watersupply.
Thellhosesarefactoryinstalledatthewatervalveslocatedatthebaseofthemachine
towards the back. For the PW10n and PW12n models, remove the right-side panel and route
thehotandcoldwater(ifequipped)llhosesthroughtheholeatthebaseofthemachine
in the back for installation to the facility connection(s). For the PW20n models, remove the
leftsidepanelandroutethehotandcoldwater(ifequipped)llhosesthroughtheholeat
the base of the machine in the back for installation to the facility water connection(s).
NOTE: The ll hoses have an identication tag for hot and cold water located at the
female garden hose connection. For the -ADV and -ADVSW models, ensure the hot
and cold-water hoses are connected to the proper water supply connections.
Drain
Adrainhose,⅝"insidediameterand8'long,isprovidedshippedlooseinsidethemachine.
Connectoneendofthehosetothebarbedttinglocatedunderthemachine(Fig.10).
NOTE:Thebarbedttingislocatedbehindtherightsidepanelunderthetank.Theother
end of the drain hose should be securely plumbed into a drain. Use care not to kink hose.
Thedrainmusthaveaminimumowcapacityof21gallonsperminute.Thedrainhose
heightcannotexceed40"abovethenishedoor.
