a valid certificate issued by an industry-accredited assessment

authority. This authorises their ability to handle refrigerants safely, in

accordance with industry-recognised assessment specifications.

⚫ Don't forget the environment when you dispose of the appliance

packaging and when the appliance has reached its use-by date.

⚫ The appliance must be stored in a well-ventilated area, the size of

which corresponds to that of the appliance.

⚫ The appliance must be stored in such a way as to prevent mechanical

damage.

⚫ Information for areas where refrigeration pipes are permitted :

- pipework installation should be kept to a minimum;

- Piping must be protected against physical damage and, in the case

of flammable refrigerants, must not be installed in an unventilated

space;

- compliance with national gas regulations must be observed;

- mechanical connections must be accessible for maintenance;

- for appliances containing flammable refrigerants, the minimum

surface area of the room must be given in the form of a table or a

single figure without reference to a formula;

• Ventilation openings must not be obstructed;

• Maintenance should only be carried out in accordance with the

manufacturer's recommendations;

• Ducts connected to an appliance must not contain any potential

source of ignition;

• When the portable air conditioner or dehumidifier is running, the

fan can operate stably and continuously under normal conditions

to supply the minimum air volume of 100m3/h even when the

compressor is shut down due to the temperature regulator.

• Do not pierce or burn.

• Only use the tools recommended by the manufacturer for

defrosting or cleaning.

• Do not puncture refrigerant circuit components. Refrigerant gas

may be odourless

• Take care when storing the appliance to avoid mechanical failure.

• Only people who have been authorised by an accredited body to

handle refrigerants in accordance with sector-specific legislation

should work on the refrigerant circuit.

• All repairs must be carried out in accordance with the
