BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
FIRST USE
This appliance has been tested at the factory and may contain a small amount of water residue. It is
recommended to run a “Drum Clean” (or other high-temperature) program to remove any residual
water from the drum.

Connect the appliance to the power mains and open the water tap. There should not be any
laundry in the drum. Select and start the program.
Do not use any solvents or cleaning agents that could damage the appliance (please observe
the recommendations and warnings provided by the cleaning agent manufacturers).

PREPARING THE WASHING PROCESS
1. Sort the laundry by type of fabric (cotton, blends, silk, wool, etc.), care label instructions, colour (white,
coloured), and soiling.
2. Empty pockets; remove metal items that may damage the laundry or appliance; fasten buttons and turn clothing
with buttons or embroidery inside out; close all zippers; tie strings on clothing with drawstrings.
3. Place sensitive clothes and small or lightweight items in a special-purpose laundry washing bag and wash them
together with other laundry.
4. Turn items prone to pilling or long-pile fabrics inside out before washing.
5. Stains that are left for too long can be difficult to remove. Treat soiled areas such as cuffs and collars before
washing (see chapter "Stain Removal Tips").
6. Do not wash heavy comforters, plush toys, or items in laundry washing bags separately in the drum to avoid
imbalance alarms.
