• Place the inner pot back into the cooker.
Wipe the external surface of the inner pot clean, ensureing there are no foreign objects or
water on the inner surface of electric pressure cooker.
Rotate the inner pot to left and right to ensure proper contact with the heating plate.
• Securely close the upper cover.
Before closing the upper cover, make sure that the sealing ring is correctly installed.
Hold the handle of the upper cover and set to the "Cover Unlocked" position. Place the top
cover horizontally onto the cooker body and turn the upper cover clockwise by about 30° to
the locked position ("Cover Locked").

• Position the exhaust valve correctly.
During operation, turn the exhaust valve to the sealing position. In this position, the electric
pressure cooker will operate in sealed mode.
To manually release the steam, please turn the handle of the exhaust valve to the exhaust
position. The electric pressure cooker will enter exhaust mode. Do not place your hands or
face above the steam vent/exhaust when releasing steam.
