Air-Dry function
The Air-Dry function ensures that the extraction channels and grease filters are blown dry.
If the hob has been used for over 3 minutes before switching off, Air-Dry is switched on for 5 minutes
(at extraction level 1). If it has been used for more than 10 minutes, Air-Dry is switched on for 15 minutes
(at extraction level 1). During this time, ‘DRY’ is displayed.
1. Touch and hold the key to stop the Air-Dry function.
INFORMATION!
It is recommended that the Air Dry function should be kept switched on at all times.
4.16 Extra functions
The appliance provides six additional functions: Melt, Warm, Simmer, Grill, Fry and Boil (see indication
'MELT', 'WARM', 'SIMMER', 'GRILL', 'FRY' and 'BOIL' on the control panel).
1. Touch key to open the extra functions menu. The illuminated slider of the selected cooking
zone disappears, and the extra functions appear in semi-illuminated brightness. Touch key again
to close the menu.
2. Touch the desired function on the slider.
3. A beep sounds when the function is activated.
4. The active function can be switched off anytime by touching the slider '0' position.
5. After activating a function, the cooking zone timer can be set on the corresponding cooking zone
(see chapter 'Time functions'). After the set time has elapsed, the function is switched off.
6. Change a set function by touching key . The function is opened. Reset the function or close
the menu.
INFORMATION!
If the pan is removed from the cooking zone during the active additional function, the active
function is paused. The selected additional function is blinking together with the corresponding
illuminated slider bar. If you put the pan back within 20 seconds, the additional function will
be resumed, otherwise it will be switched off.
