Pause
With this function, you can pause the operation of the entire hob for up to
10 minutes. In the meantime, you can safely clean the hob without losing
your settings. Touch the key to turn on or off the cooking pause and turn it
on again.
Extra functions
Touch the key to activate extra hob settings: Melting, Warm, Simmer, Grill,
Fry and Boil.
The key located next to the extraction slider allows you to switch from
manual to automatic extraction, regardless of the setting in user settings.
The extraction is automatically adjusted when you operate a cooking zone
(the higher the power of the cooking zone, the higher the extraction rate).
Connection setup (Wi-Fi) (function available depending on the model)
When the user interface is on, and the cooking zones are off, touch and
hold the key, then release it to enter the menu displayed on the timer.
Melting
For melting chocolate, melting butter or slowly defrosting frozen food.
Reheating/keeping warm
The function enable automatic heating of water-based food without stirring
or additional heat maintenance of ready-made food.
Keeping warm just below boiling point/cooking with water
The function allows heating the liquid just below the boiling point, where
there is no rapid evaporation of water. Recommended for cooking dishes
with a large amount of water, e.g. soups, stews.
Grilling
The grill function creates a crispy surface, while keeping the food juicy on
the inside. Recommended for grilling meat, vegetables, fish.
Frying
The function is intended for cooking or frying food in a large amount of oil.
It creates a crispy, golden crust. Recommended for potatoes, meat, fish,
dough.
Boiling/cooking with water
This function lets you quickly heat the water to the boiling point.
Bridge (function available depending on the model)
Combine the cooking zones by pressing this key.
Timer settings display
Display the time settings.
Slider
Touch or slide the slider to set the cooking power or switch off the cooking
zone.
When ‘Automatic pan detection’ is enabled, the ‘0’ on the corresponding
slider lights up fully when a pan is placed on the cooking zone.
