1. General information

The Dust Protection Door HEYLO DCD 3.0 is a piece of equipment for the trade and serves the
purpose of fast and safe partitioning of wall openings (doors, windows, hatches) in the working area or
area where dirt has collected as opposed to the white area of the building. Other building parts can
thus also be safely protected from dust during renovation work with the DCD 3.0.
The DCD 3.0 can be used for door widths from 680 mm to 830 mm. Door widths of up to 1430 mm
can be partitioned off optionally using adapters that can be additionally supplied.
The DCD-3.0 combined with filter ventilators and hoses is the Dust Protection System DCS – for
permanent pressurisation or suctioning off of dust. By connecting HEYLO filter ventilators to the DCD
3.0 outside the work area, negative pressure is created in the area to be renovated which prevents the
distribution of fine dust in adjacent rooms. As soon as the filter ventilators are installed in the working
area at the place where dust is formed, the dust suctioning function begins.
Easy to transport and quick to install, the Dust Protection System DCS saves time, money and
complications. Time consuming subsequent cleaning as is the case in water supported systems is not
necessary - just clean or knock off the dust and dirt from the filters used.
Attention: In the case of contaminated air, H 13/H14 filters must be disposed of if used (see Section
on “Installation guidelines“).
